"Caz" is Cazenovia, they're an NCAA III team from upstate New York. They generally stay upstate but decided to take a trip down here for spring break.

Thats basically all their coach told me so anymore will have to be one of the wonderful internet searches possible these days.

Harding/memphis game got rescheduled for tomorrow...

Mo State over HU 13-10

Very had fought game by both teams. There has been a sort of inter-divisional rivalry for these 2 teams form, so we knew it'd be a good game. Field was EXTREMELY WET, standing water, the whole 9 yards, a regular "Mud Bowl" game.

Mo State over Memphis 18-12

Missouri State came out excited about the previous win, flat. Memphis was up by 1 at half, MoSt was very tired. We pulled away in the 2nd half.
BTW Going after a groundball against memphis's attack SUCKS! They have a couple big boys that can hit hard.

Harding was very nice during and after the game. They even let us use some showers in the dorms before we rode our bus back. Many props to Harding for hosting us (dryer field next time? :D ) and Ben Cormier for taking care of us. We look forward to hosting you next year and hope to be as hospitable. Thanks Again HU

I am clearly not the first to comment on the game, but through text message I heard that this was a match easily placed in the 'Mud Bowl' category. We know the score, but I only wish that I could have been there. Congrats to MSU... truly a program defining game... and best of luck to Harding... Your name and reputation precede the result.

I will echo what DRich said about Harding's class...I wasn't at the game this year but every year that these teams have played each other Harding has shown nothing but class. They always try to go out of their way to take care of teams, even if they're on the road! Props to the Harding guys for being a true class act....

btw, I believe this breaks a 4 game losing streak for MSU against them :D . Definitely a rival game always looked forward to by both teams. starting back in the days when Corbin and I were youngsters on the teams!

The first "game" was a fall ball game held on Harding's golf driving range/lacrosse practice field. An older HU player played "ref" and I believe that there was a tree in one corner of the field. Not sure the field was level either. Oh and State won, but we didn't have a chance to get a last minute stick check on Beckner.

Creighton 21: Cornell 1
Cornell played with a whole lot of heart. It was cold and they were short benched with 2 subs, but they hustled after every ground ball and play. Their goalie play was light years above where most might expect them to be.

No. The game was cancelled because of weather and will be rescheduled.
