Div A Subdivisions

With that said would it also result in more talented teams getting worse by playing in these "blowouts"?

Exactly, I would tend to agree that it works both ways in most instances. Is the greater good allowing a team time for them to get up to speed, while sacrificing the dominant team's growth? Which way is faster? Team A is considered developmental in a league and team B is considered the dominant team in the same league. However, team B is considered developmental on the national stage. If there are more team "A's" than "B's" should a new team A even get voted into the league for the greater good of the league and each team?

I'm not referring to any conference or any teams specifically!!!! I think this hypothetical applies to all of the conferences.

What if the current RMLC DI was sitting in or near a possible expansion zone? I know some will say well it's not! However, could the sheer dominance be inhibiting healthy and quality growth?
