Where is Oklahoma
Seems a little weird that no Oklahoma players made it on the list. The stats clearly show a few are up high on the list. I was just kinda curious to know how the coaches came up with this list and Oklahoma wasn't even considered good enough to make a team much less an honorable mention. Clearly as a first year squad plenty of their players showed the heart and dedication and skill to make a team.

heart and dedication
that is true, and the h&D was just a lame attempt to make it sound better. The fact still remains that a few OU players put up better stats and performances than many on the list. I realize that stats arent everything, but when people are making the "all-conference" who arent even listed in the top 30 for stats, one really has to wonder what it is measured on, or what they did that really made them "all-conference". i dont think i have ever seen the mvp in any sport not put up some sort of numbers that make him the best. If we are awarding the teams on "team spirit" then by all means put whoever pumped you up the most, but as far as I am concerned, the awards should be given to the best. The best isnt always determined by the stats, but they give a pretty good idea as to a players ability

OU
OU was ineligible for post season awards by virtue of the fact that they were a Division A team playing down in Division B. Just one of those things. TCU had a similar fate.
OU is going to be in the A Division next year so we may have some players make the rounds next year.
All in all, OU did a tremendous job in building a solid base to play in the LSA for a long time.

That is true because we all have to keep this in mind that Oklahoma went 3-4 in conference play for their first year and their overall record is 3-7. That speaks volumes for that program. By the way, Oklahoma in its first year should be highly commended for not being shut out at all this year. Those boys including Alex Perry should be proud of their accomplishments for being able to score at least one goal or more in all of their games.

They seem to be right on. SU's gaolie was awesome and st ed's was pretty rocking. The UTA goalie deserved the 3rd spot
One thing i did notice was that the LSM/FO spots on 2 and 3 were filled by really great LSMs. Those two definately made it difficult to scoop the ball out during faceoffs. One thing i didnt understand, and I am NOT COMPLAINING!, was that the MVP was on second team attack. 10 from SU i think. Im not debating his MVP spot at all so dont take this the wrong way, just seems he should be on Team 1 though

Jeffcoat
I thought it was weird too, but that's how the votes turned out. I think the answer lies in the specific award. For pure attack, the three first teamers were more impressive to the voters. For pure impact on a game or a season or a team, the voters went for Jeffcoat.

all league
Hey karl, were most all league honors a blow out or were most close? Feel free to be specific. Seemed like a split decision for many positions where it would be a toss up espcially with attack and long poles.

Votes were tight
Voting in some was widespread and close in others.
The biggest problem was that three teams did not turn in ballots. I repeat three teams did not turn in ballots. If you are unhappy with the results, you may want to ask the three teams that didn't turn in ballots why they did not turn in ballots.
