They're still a club team, not NCAA till 2009-2010 (possibly):

Arizona State @ BYU: I don't like to do this, but I'll go for a long shot here. I see ASU winning this game. This is why. ASU has a very strong offense. I have not seen their defense this year, but it seems to be a little better than last year. BYU has a struggling defense. It was not very apparent last year because they had a very good ride. So if ASU can clear the ball, they will win. Hopefully it isn't snowing. That could also hurt ASU.

Florida @ Chapman: Sorry Danny. Florida won't do it. But I'll take your bet for the Florida v UCSB game. Chapman by a lot.

Ithaca College @ Chapman: I always pick the MCLA team over the NCAA team.

Florida vs USC: I'm picking the young but talented USC team to win by a goal or two.

UCSB @ San Diego State: This game has been circled on dtrain's calendar since taking the job as defensive coordinator. He is a former Gaucho, and this game means a lot to him. I think Dewan should wear a microphone for this game. I would love to hear all of his 30 different defensive sets. This will be a low scoring game, but I have to pick my team.

CSU vs Sonoma at UCSD: First test of the season for SSU. I'm hoping they can pull it out, but I don't see that happening, especially since the game is not at SSU. This game will hopefully give us some kind of gauge on where SSU stands. This is my game of the week.

California @ Cal Poly: This is a classic matchup. Cal Poly is starting to look better and better every game. Could be a close game, but I see Cal Poly coming out on top and Kweller having a big game.

Texas Tech @ Arizona State: I don't see ASU having any problems in this game. A top LSA team doesn't have much of a chance against a top WCLL team.

Sonoma @ UCSD: I haven't heard much from UCSD this year. This is their chance to make some noise.

CSU vs LMU @ UCSD: I have heard a lot of talk (off the message boards) about LMU. If they can play CSU close, they may get some attention. I would like to see them play CSU close.

asu certainly does have a good offense and some solid shooters. however, i think byu will take care of business. they've made some changes on d and it will probably pay off. i'm gonna say byu by 4 or 5. at least.

ASU vs BYU is gonna be a SICK game! these are two of the best scoring teams in the country and neither have very strong defenses so i bet this will be a very very high scoring game

It is a shame the ASU vs. BYU game isn't going to be on BYUTV as planned. Is anyone there going to post updates or is there going to be a live audio webcast?

Biola 8
Dominican 7

Final/OT

Biola and Dominican provided a thriller, with Biola coming back from a 6-2 deficit about halfway through the third.

Both goalies played absolutely out of their mind. Probably 40 saves between them.

ASU 10 vs. BYU 15 : BYU is too tough at home.

Florida 8 vs. Chapman 13

Ithaca 9 vs Chapman 15 : I know nothing about Ithaca so this is a WCLL homer pick.

Florida 12 vs USC 4

CSU 12 vs. UCSD 5

UCSB 14 vs. SDSU 5

CSU 11 vs. Sonoma 12 : This is definitely the game of the week. Should be a battle.

Cal 8 vs. Cal Poly 10 : Should be a fun game to watch. Cal needs a big win but Cal Poly has the advantage at home.

Sonoma 16 vs. UCSD 5

CSU 15 vs. LMU 5

Ithaca beat Whittier 12-7 today and is #5 in the last DIII poll. I am anxiously awaiting this game.

If SDSU indeed played Chapman real tough despite the final score, the UCSB game could be interesting. I sttill think the Gauchos win though.

Cal Poly has a must win game against Cal.

ASU vs. BYU : ASU by 1

Florida vs. Chapman: Chapman by A LOT

Ithaca vs Chapman : Ithaca is going to beat Chapman pretty easily. I think Chapman can put up some points, but their D is gonna get lit up. I hope I am wrong.

Florida vs USC: Florida by 2.

CSU vs. UCSD: CSU by 9

UCSB vs. SDSU: SDSU by 1

CSU vs. Sonoma: If this were in RP, I would say Noma by a couple. However SD may as well be home for Noma. Gonna say Noma by 1.

Cal vs. Cal Poly : Poly by 3

Sonoma vs. UCSD: Noma by 9

CSU vs. LMU: CSU by 8

fwiw....

ASU 15 vs. BYU 18 : game play style similar to byu/chapman...except i like byu this time

Florida 7 vs. Chapman 14: let's see lmu beat florida and chapman beat lmu...could be lopsided (selc is overrated)

Ithaca 20 vs Chapman 15 : #5 DIII school could be toughest team chapman plays all year....

Florida 8 vs USC 7: a close, last team with the ball wins game?

UCSB 10 vs. SDSU 8: dewan will have 20 d's with funny names which should control the scoring, none the less ucsb wins....

CSU 10 vs. Sonoma 12 : This is definitely the game of the week. My WCLL bias pick....

Cal 10 vs. Cal Poly 14 : Poly should handle business....

Texas Tech 8 vs Arizona State 18: blowout in the desert?

Keene State 11 vs San Diego 5: can usd carry momentum from sdsu game against a top 20 DIII school?

CSU 10 vs. LMU 7: closer than people might think....

should be a fun week in the wcll.....
