CSU 9
UMD 7

CSU rallied from three goals down in the second half. A tough loss for the Bulldogs, who can rebound whole heartedly with a win over Michigan next weekend.

Really a well played game on both sides. Flip said it best at the half when I think the score was 3-3. He said "well, this is pretty much what it (lacrosse) should look like. What an interesting fellow, it was quite a pleasure to see him and his family in action.

A little rough in the third quarter, but with the #2 and #3 teams in the country, I would be more surprised if things didn't get a little rough. Both teams played with good emotional control throughout the game, and kept the proper pace.

UMD seemed to force the issue a little with the three goal lead. CSU kept working, and found the net five times in a row over a fairly sustained period of time. Probably 15 minutes or so over the course of the third and fourth quarter.

It was probably the best game I've seen in Minnesota in a very long time.

If these teams happen to get matched up again in Texas, I would make certain I had a front row seat.

Thank you so much to CSU, UMD, and BC for joining us in honor of our brother. Thanks to all the fans who came out and supported their teams. I am confident we had close a 1000 fans out over the course of three days.

We commit to making The 2009 Chris Jenkins Memorial Invitational even better, and look forward to the privilege of hosting such fine organizations as the ones we saw this year.

Agreed... 100%

It was a great weekend of lacrosse for the state, and I'm glad to have been there.

I believe both scores were 10-9. Either way they were great games. Thanks a lot for making the trip out to us. Have a great rest of the season.
