I'm with Jason here, I'd be pleading to my guys to knock it off (which I'm sure Mark was)... but something tells me the guys at SOU just can't stop sometimes. I know that was true for Tyler last year in our playoff game...

If you want to call me out that's fine, but don't label my team for my actions. And that was after the play not during, so I don't know how SOU can't stop sometimes.........I am not known as a dirty player as far as I know. I do play hard and get emotionally wrapped up into the game. I am a loud mouth also, but I don't know how that relates to playing illegally and throwing cheap shots. Maybe you could clarify what you meant? Cross checks repeatedly in the back after the play tend to upset people.........It's not the first time there was a scrum in lacrosse game.

I think I was clear. SOU plays physical lacrosse. That's not a knock to your team, that's a description of how they play... which happens to be accurate.

Actually it isn't fine....

You know where to find the message board rules. Lets save it for the fields fellas, OK?

Players, Admins, and Coaches should refrain from any further commentary on PNCLL game officiating. There are appropriate (private) channels that coaches have to rate and comment on game officiating during a MCLA/PNCLL contest.

I home I'm clear.

And I'm not talking about a visit to the doctor's office.

It's so good to hear others speaking up about the officiating in the PNCLL. It only took 5 minutes of my first game to realize how ridiculous it is. Whoever says those penalties could be avoided is obviously not concerned with a high level of play. Period. There have been some really good things said in this thread that have been on peoples minds for many years now, and still, nothing has been done about it. This is one of the few reasons playing a PNCLL game can be a complete joke. Do something about it! Let 'em Play!

I will avoid commenting on PNCLL reffing and only throw out a comment about the WCLL. when we played down in Cali last season a lot of our guys felt like we were restricted from playing our, what we feel may be, more phsical brand of play by the refs down there. there were a lot of calls that went against us down there that I personally feel would have been no calls up here. In fact one of our guys had a great hit in one game and the opposing coach yelled "he took more than three steps before that hit ref!!!" and we were flagged for what seemed to be a solid body check from the front. Oh well, what can you do? I am just hoping to maybe throw a little personal perspective on how I feel our league is reffed compared to other places i have been.
The true test of a player's character is not how he wins, but how he loses.

I think that it all depends on the ref you get for the game. I remember two years ago playing down at Claremont and the reffing was awesome. It was a very physical game on both ends and they let us play.

I have reffed games that were good here and bad as well. It is hard to say that all the reffing is bad in this league because that is not true. There are refs however that are great and I always hoped they would be reffing our games.

The WCLL Ref's we had were awesome, they let Cal smack us around a little bit. We were also in the Bay Area for all of our OCC games so we most likely had different officiating crews. I played a fall semester at Arizona State a couple years ago before I hurt my knee, and we always seemed to have good Ref's, even up in Vegas for the Best of the West tournament they were great, sounds like you got some bad apples.
