Perusing the rosters of teams which have already been posted shows alot of Freshmen among the players who will be competing on the field in the PNCLL in 2008. While most of the names are unfamiliar to me (especially Gonzaga's and Idaho's), I'm sure many of them will become quite well known to us all once games begin next week.
So who will be the future PNCLL all-stars from this incoming Class of 2011? Here's a few likely candidates, based on my first-hand knowledge or simply from reputation (HS A.A.s) or "pedigree"*:
Oregon -- M Brett Klitz, A Max Schlesinger
Oregon State -- G Alex Magi, D Brandon Parker, M Danny Hoffman
Simon Fraser -- G Dean Stewart, M Matt Miyashita, D Curt Brown, LSM Nathan Clare, A Chris Tessarolo
Washington -- D Ashkaan Jaberi, M Joey Cramer, D Tim Wettack
This is hardly a comprehensive list, so who are some of the others?
* If SFU's Miyashita is the little brother of Mark -- who starred at NCAA DI Canisius -- then the Clan may have really snagged another "gem".

Seems like he is

Miyashita (6′, 185 lbs.) will bring experience and versatility to the Clan midfield. A Richmond, BC, product currently suits up in box lacrosse for the powerhouse Burnaby Jr. A Lakers and was also invited to Canada’s U19 National Team Try-outs.
Same Junior teams, both have a name that begins with "M", how could they not be.

I do not know how well the players on the west side of the state are, but I really feel as if our goalie Alex Garabedian (freshman) gets good defense, he has the potential to stop a lot of shots and help us win games. He has played well against the teams we have played and a lot of goals allowed were point blank range and fast breaks our defense gave up. I also feel as if Montana has a great freshman class coming in and Idaho keeps getting more and more talent.
