Hey does anyone know who won the oregon fall classic? I know that oregon and SFU were in the finals, but I don't know what happened after that (was busy watching the UO football team roll over ASU)

From what I hear, it was Oregon White over SFU Red 7-6 in OT in the final.

Oregon Fall Classic
I managed to catch a number of games in Eugene on Saturday. There were 10 teams participating - 2 from Oregon, SFU and Chico State as well as UW, GU, WOU and OSU.
Both SFU and Oregon squads went 2-0 in their morning games and therefore met eachother in both Semifinals.
Oregon White vs SFU Red was a really game. 1-1 at half as both defences held fort. In the last 5 minutes of the second half I believe there was 5 goals as each team traded back and forth. Oregon White scored with 37 seconds left to take the lead 7-6. SFU Red had a shot at the end with 2 seconds to go but failed to score.
Oregon Black vs SFU White as also a close game. 3-3 at half as Oregon scored in the closing seconds to tie it up after SFU jumped out to a 3-1 lead. SFU outscored Oregon 4-2 in the second half to seal the win 7-5.
The final saw Oregon White play SFU Red in a great fall game that I am sure will only add to the most heated rivalry in the PNCLL Div I. SFU Red held a 6-3 edge with 7 minutes remaining in the second half. Oregon slowly picked away at the lead, showing the composure of a top team and managed to tie the game on a fast break scramble with 9 secs to go. Game went into a sudden death OT period. SFU won the opening faceoff of OT and settled the ball for at least 3 good shot opportunities. The Oregon D held once again and when Oregon regained the ball they went in for the kill and with one low bounce shot won the Oregon Classic in dramatic fashion.
A couple of notes from the Semifinals and Final
Oregon is really going to miss Scott "Turtle" Miller. He was simply dominant in and outside of the PNCLL at times. SFU has a couple of their own Faceoff specialists that confirmed the importance of winning the f/o.
Got my first look at the new sendoff rule for faceoff infractions - some teams will need to refresh themselves on what to do both on offence and defence.
Oregon D still pressures on and off ball a ton and were sliding very aggressively while the SFU D plays a more patient scheme system.
I would not count out the Ducks even with the losses they saw in 07, they have reloaded and will score as they are not afraid to shoot. SFU is deeper at all positions than they were last year.
Should be a great 08 in the PNCLL can't wait for the season to begin.

Does anyone have game tape of anyone watching Oregon white? SFU or Chico 1? I'd happily pay for a copy and shipping. I couldn't believe we didn't film any and I can't imagine going into a couple months of off season with nothing to watch. Please???? Thank you.
