What is a banana hammock?

On second thought, I'll just wait for it, and have it be a surprise.

Google it, but don't do it while you are at work :D

Given the attire this week it seems it pays dividends to be 250 miles from the Twin Cities :P

First, NO banana hammocks sported by Team Tux.

Second, Evil Empire beats Jolly Roger by 2 in the championship game.

Good luck and have a great fall/Spring everyone.

Senn/Herr beat Reilly/Costello 12-6 in 3rd Place game. Too bad we didn't get a full game against Evil Empire. We hadn't lost since June! But I'm not sure how we would have fared against the banana hammocks if Team Tuxedo would have worn them tonight.

Other scores? 5th, 7th, 9th?

And as a point of reference, would these five games be known as such: Championship, Third Place, Consolation, Friendship, Super-Friendship?

Yar! Twas indeed a great summer league this year! I already miss the smell of old guy shoulder pads, Gatorade, and Ben Gay (not you Mooney, you smell nice).

I would also like to mention the fact that the starting defense for both championship teams was an estimated 215 years old.

i agree that the results might have varied if Team Tux woulda rocked the hammocks, or if author of said comment, mr francis madden would have even showed up. either way, it was a great summer, the league was great. I look forward to seeing everyone next summer and at some of the other local tournaments this fall.
