PCLL B Coach of the Year
As A Salem player I would like give my congrats to Coach Eaton of Salem State for winning Coach of the Year in PCLL B. I could not begin to imagine a coach doing any more than this man does for his team. Also, a quick shout out to Gavin Walsh, defensive man of the year.

Honestly, this man has done the most incredible job at Salem State. The team was varsity before I entered Salem State in the Fall of 2003. The team had their status revoked and was nothing. I came in as a freshman, disappointed there wasn't a team and when I talked to kids who played the previous years, I asked if there was going to be anything, and they laughed at me. That year we played BC and lost something like 14-2, and I wouldn't call it practice, but we showed up and did whatever. The next year we increased our schedule to 3 games! Our coach wasn't motivated and enjoyed doing behind the back shooting drills... yea, I'll leave it at that. We only beat ULowell by 2 that year and it was like the greatest thing that ever happened to us. Now, with Coach Eaton there, we don't accept anything less than the best possible outcome. Coach has turned this team from a joke into a back to back champion. He has made everyone realize that our hard work will pay off and people will notice. Coach has sacrificed his time and money for the well being of this team and we wouldn't be ANYWHERE NEAR where we are now if it wasn't for him. I can guarantee that our team isn't the easiest group of guys to coach haha but Coach somehow gets us tuned in and he always does what is best for us. As long as Coach Eaton is at the helm for the Salem State lax team, they will definitely be going places. So Coach Eaton, thanks for everything you have done and continue to do. I couldn't have ever imagined an experience like I have had the past 2 years and I am so pumped for next year. You have made me such a better player and helped me improve on things on the field and off. This championship is for you!
P.S. Sorry bout the gatorade bath!

I'm not going to say what's already been said, but Trever has definitely sent this program in the right direction. With everything going on in his own life and certain things going on within the team he managed to unite us, put everything else out of the way, and got us to focus on and achieve what we were working for all year long. Again, thanks for everything coach.
