Hope the UNT legs are in good shape with potentially three big games coming up in the next four days.
What ifs, (correct me if I'm wrong)-
1- If Baylor were to win Wednesday, the UNT/SMU game is necessary with interesting possibilities.
2- If UNT were to win Wednesday, then UNT/SMU are playing for position Thursday, only to play again Saturday.

If Baylor were to win on Wednesday, I believe the SMU/UNT game would have no bearing because SMU (win or lose vs. UNT) would still have the tie-breaker with Baylor.
If Baylor wins, wouldn't a UNT win over SMU create a 3-way tie?

Absolutely brutal back and forth game that went right down to the end.....
North Texas 19
Baylor 17
Unfortunately this means we will not make the playoffs....but I personally feel that this team has made great strides. I am definitely looking forward to next season.

Congratulations to Baylor for a successful season and keeping it meaningful all the way down to the last game! I think others will agree Baylor opened some eyes this year by being one of the more surprising teams and will come back even stronger next year and ready to contend again.
And congratulations to UNT for surviving a hard fought season (that still isn't quite over for them yet) and scratching out that game to capture the final playoff spot. I guess UNT and SMU will play Thursday night for home field advantage in a rematch Saturday?
