2007 GRLC All-Conference Nominations Are Due Monday April 16

The following email has been sent to every coach in the GRLC.

GRLC Coaches,
This past fall the conference voted to change the all conference selection process. It is now the responsibility of each coach to nominate players on his team. Your nominations are due by Monday April 16th. You must email your nominations to both your division director and the conference commissioner.

Commissioner - Brian Mosher, brian_d_mosher at hotmail.com
Div A Director- A.J. Stevens, aj.stevens at fightingillini.com
Div B Director- Will Gillner, creightonlax at netzero.net

Each coach is to nominate his own players to put on the ballot. Each team is limited to the following number of nominees but you should only nominate players worthy of the honor.(you do not need to fill every space with a nomination)
Attack (3)
Midfield (4)
Defense (3)
Goalie (1)
LSM (1)
Def Midfield (1)
Face-Off Midfield (1)

Nominations must include the following information:
Name - Position Nominated For - Year in School - School - Jersey #
The coach may include a statement not to exceed 50 words about each player nominated.

EXAMPLE
Doug Johnson- Midfield - Soph. - Chicopee State - Jersey #87
Doug was 1st team all-GRLC in 06'. He has continued where he left off in 07' scoring 42 goals and 18 assists this season.

The 2007 deadlines are as follows:
Nominations Due Monday April 16th 11:59 PM
Ballots emailed to coaches Sunday April 22nd 11:59 PM
Coach’s voting due Wednesday April 25th 11:59 PM

It seems a little early in the season for this to get turned in. I know we used to do this at x-over, did the nominations get moved up when we got rid of x-over?

You nominate your own players to be voted on by opposing coaches. The conference championship is less than 3 weeks away. The regular season is over when the final voting is due.

Reminder that nominations are due by midnight tomorrow night.

If you don't get them in, you won't have anyone on the ballot...No excuses.
