Northern Colorado/ UVSC
Both Northern Colorado and UVSC had huge margin of victories. What part of the game (offense/defense)/ players looked impressive?

I hope your not talking about the Mines game because 6 goals is not a HUGE margine of victory

I agree, 6 goals is not huge. 6 goals is convincing. Northern 19-5 over Western is huge. UVSC 19-1 over Wyoming is huge. I am not trying to rub it in Wyo or Westerns face either, to put up 19 is a lot. Good offense? Good Ride? Good Defense? thats what I am asking. What shined?

In our game agianst wyoming, the difference was face offs and keeping the ball on our side of the field. Playing defence, i may as well have been on the side line. taking nothing away from Wyoming, they will win some games this year, but they just couldn't get past our ride. It will be exciting to see what we do against some ranked teams up in boise next weekend.

Are the Cowboys passing and catching any better this year? Last year it was their biggest problem. The defense was all right (that was their most experienced area), but they got worn down quickly because they were constantly playing D because the O couldn't maintain possession.
How'd the goalie look?

The defense of Wyoming looked pretty good. They also have a couple attack that did well, but they didn't have any help, so an agressive UVSC defense played them well, and they had no one cutting to the hole or giving help, so it made it hard. Wyoming had a few offensive possesions that they worked the ball around a couple times. They are definitely improving. It is awesome. I only wish the best for Wyo lacrosse.

I would say that wyoming looked much better than they have in the past. They have some numbers on the sideline, catching / throwing is much improved, and their goalie made some good saves. When the ball is on your side of the field the whole game, some shots are going to slide in, but i thought the golie kept his cool and stayed in the game. only breakdown by any member of the team was #38 (defender), but came back in the game and played fine. I expect some wins this year from wyoming and they will surprise some teams.
