Fall Ball

Ruling for Fall Ball

Postby arlaxpdt on Tue Nov 14, 2006 12:27 pm

For the record, what is the stance on eligibility issues during fall ball? i.e. is it alright for coaches to play with their teams. I realize the enforcement appratus is not in place, but a guideline to other coaches and refs may help situations like that. I realize the line can be blurred because at many tourneys in the area men's club teams are allowed to participate, but in serious intercollegiate Lacrosse this would be a no-no.

my understanding was that in the pre-season, eligibility didn't matter, but once the regular season started, if you weren't an eligible player, you had no business on the field
