Cooper and Armstrong go Varsity

According to the local free paper, both programs will be Varsity this year and will play on the new FieldTurf fields at their schools. They'll get no school support this year and will phase in to 100% support by the fifth year. I tried to find a link for the story but couldn't; Google may not have it indexed yet.

On a related note, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported (on Thursday or Friday) that 25 boys teams had signed on so far to go Varsity. I think the deadline is Tuesday.[/i]
