Summer Lax

Summer Lax

I was wondering if anyone knows of any instructional summer programs for college-age athletes. Unfortunately, most camps are high school and younger. And summer leagues like the Southie league, for example, are highly competitive and geared toward experienced players. Anyone new to the game wouldn't get much out of playing in a league like that. Any ideas?

I think you are out of luck in that department. When kids pick up the game as college students, the only way to get experience is by throwing them into the fire. If the kid is an athlete, and can learn to catch and throw using a wall, then he should be able to get a lot out of playing summer ball. I actually recommend it.
