LSA CHAMPIONSHIPS

Hey Tech,

What else are you gonna complain about? I have never seen a bigger group of cry babies. I guess Karl should have gone around and hugged everyone on your team and told you how proud he is of you. If he did that, you probably would have complained that he didn't hold you close enough. "I talked to my mom about it..." come on dude, you have to be kidding.

Love, Ryan

Yeah Karl wouldn't know anything about east coast lacrosse....

What's up with the white hats though? Is that to prevent the black hats from soaking up the heat and causing your head to explode?

Thank you to John Kotarski, Director of Web Development and Communication, for spending his weekend snapping photos at the playoffs.

Well, I'd be mad about this post, but I think everybody expects you to act like a moron at this point.

Can we please keep a thread on topic? Focus the discussion on the 'action' on the field this past weekend, not trivial happenings following the games.

A great discussion would be the comeback by Texas? Pretty stunning IMO.

RD1 are you serious? My mother commented on how your coach completly forgot to acknowledge the other team that played in the championships and your going to attack that? I was simply pointing out that people in the stands (particularly my mother) noticed that Karl's speech at the end of the game was a little odd. You need to read the posts a little better and think before you talk, I was backing up someone elses comments on the board earlier.

Trust me I am not bitter at all I got to play this last weekend.

To get back on the topic of the Weekend and for UT. Congrats and it was a hell of a comeback.

It's like you guys are just reaching for stuff to complain about. First individual awards and now this. I need to think before I talk? You are critizing someone who volunteers his time for the league about something that is extremely petty. Before this, you critized him for the way the award ballots are done. It's no one else, just tech and a couple of guys no one has ever heard of.

I have to agree with RD1. Do you play lacrosse, and have a hell of a season, just to get a few words of congratulations, or to know that you played the best you could? Maybe you should start concentrating on the intrinsic rewards of playing good lacrosse instead of worrying about not getting enough recognition for your accomplishments.

Just my two cents.

Check that out in the "Championship Chat" Forum and look for "Sticky" where you can find out about the schedule for the Nationals next week.

RD1, as I've said before, if people weren't critical over things then we'd have absolutely nothing to talk about. I think it's important to be critical in this league as we continue to fine-tune the way which are conference is represented and carries out business ... not saying a post-game speech is the only thing to talk about, but I think agree with Tech17 ...

We weren't looking for a pat on the back or someone to give us a hug after the game, beleive me we know what we accomplished this season (outscoring LSA opponents somewhere around 125-30-ish) and are at least somewhat pleased by that, but it would have been a nice courtesy to our fans who have traveled long and far throughout the season to give them one last opportunity to cheer. I'm not blaming Karl either, it just probably didn't even cross his mind, it's not a big deal, really. I think the Tech players just want our incredible supporters to be appreciated (which they absolutely are).

Anyways, congrats on UT for the comeback win. It was a wild game to play in and I'm sure a good one to watch. Good luck in Plano!

I'd like to give one last shout out to Tech's seniors, we had one hell of a season and it was great playing with you guys the last few years. They're sure to shake up some men's club games so watch out!

The work Karl does behind the scenes, along with a select few in the league, and I do mean a select few, to get to the Championship weekend must be commended.

That said, if anyone feels that the presentation should be changed for next year I have an idea, volunteer your time to head the awards committee for the LSA, and be in charge of the All-Conference, trophy presentations, etc. That would be helping the league solve a perceived problem instead of just arguing in an Internet Forum.
