Durango 's lacrosse scene is steadily growing, as well as the sport across the western slope of Colorado. Our highschool program is in its second year and doing well. Check out the team website at www.durangolacrosse.com. In fact Summit, Aspen, Eagle County, Battlemountain, Durango and Glenwood Springs all played in a tournament two weekends ago. Summit defeated Durango 4-2 for the championship, after both teams went 4-0 against the rest. Durango got revenge this weekend at home by beating Santa Fe Prep 9-2, and Summit 6-4. Durango's record is 9-4 overall, 8-1 conference.
