PLU is better than WWU and way, way better than UPS. PLU is tougher, better-coached, and utilizes their talent way better than WWU. I don't think the UPS game was a reality check--it was simply a rivalry game. PLU still beat UPS by three.

I don't think there is any question of playoff seedings. WWU has a better record, plain and simple, and deserves the second seed. PLU's loss to SOU really cost 'em, just like Kyle said that any thing can happen on the field, and does.
But in terms of title, B North Champs, I wonder how a team that beats all their Division competitors can not be the champs? Would it be worth the board's time to debate giving the bye to one team and the title to another?
In terms of who the better team is, PLU and WWU will just have to see in Tigard.

This is not worthy of debate, Ben, at least in my opinion. Conference record is and has always been the determining factor of who wins a division. Western Washington finished 7-1 -- a record nobody could match. They are the B-North champs, regardless of PLU's record against the B-North and your win over the Vikes.

The schedule should cycle, and I believe it will where you play 3 teams from the other division. Can you also say WWU got "lucky" cause they played Willamette and PLU didn't? That logic shouldn't and doesn't work.
We are all a league, if you have a better record against your league then you should be the champion. To PLU's credit, I think they got their game out of the way where they miss cage completely 20+ times against SOU, that won't happen again. After an 11-9 win over WWU I don't think you can say either team "deserves" it more based on that game. League record must decide and it does.

Joe Kerwin, the head coach at Oregon is in charge of the banquet this year (as well as everything else at the Final Four). . .and right now he is working with a catering company for the banquet - it will be Saturday night for sure. The doors will open and the buffet will be served at 5:30PM. . .with the banquet officially beginning at 6PM on Saturday.
Price is still being figured out, but it will be less than $10. . and maybe as low as $5 per person.

As you've probably read in other threads. . .
The banquet doors will open at 5:30PM at Tigard H.S. in their cafeteria, and Joe Kerwin is working hard to keep the cost per player to about $5 per person.
And the game schedule for the B division is set, with PLU and Montana at 11AM and SOU vs. WWU at 2PM.
