Tech would like to thank Baylor for coming out here and for a great game.

Ya that sounds bad but Baylor did great, they never gave up anything, and were playing all but ironman the whole game without being idiots about the whole thing. They handled that the best way I think a team could have, classy guys.

It is true that Baylor has exhibited classy behavior on and off the field this year despite a small squad. It would have been nice that this team would have garnered its 100th goal last night making them the fifth LSA Div. A North team to have 100 goals or above. Right now, LSA Div. A has 4 teams (Texas, Texas Tech, SMU, and North Texas) that have tallied 100 goals or more whereas their Div. A South counterparts (Texas A&M and Texas State) only has two teams tallying more than 100 goals. That is for overall, not for conference.

We are all still waiting for the score of the Texas and Texas State game. It should be over by now.

Though aggielax24 was at the game, an email from Texas makes it official--

Texas 18 Texas State 7

Know what this means? The 2006 edition of the LSA regular season is over, maybe almost...[I had to add that because I may have spoken too soon :) ]

Next weekend, we will see the play-in playoff games next Saturday in Dallas and in Houston. Like Karl already said, the game in Houston will be between Texas A&M and Rice. It looks like it will be Texas will be playing UNT in Dallas. Anyway, we should be getting the official playoff scenarios from Karl.

mikey, youre really missing the point here. Tech killed us in all facets of the game, and the score reflects it. That being said, I would still pick us to beat them the next time we line up against them.

Great game to Tech. Congrats on winning the north, you guys had a hell of a regular season.
