FSU History Question

Well i was just up in DC for a internship interview and i was staying with one of my sisters friends.... anyway her boyfriend graduated from tulane and was trying to tell me that Tulane beat FSU in lacrosse..... i thought he was lying or confused.... can anyone confirm, disprove this? i was just curious
the approx years would have been 1999-2004

i would say they might have played a team underd the banner of FSU in the mardi gras tourney which migh not have been the real FSU team. FSU has been very good for as long as i can remember back to around 98 ish. I know a bunch of guys that played their int he mid 90s, i'll inquire.

in the fall of 2001, about 20 players from FSU went to New Orleans. We did play Tulane, and yes they did win by a goal or 2.

That was still during the era of when people played FSU lacrosse for the drinking, not for the lacrosse. If I recall, several players came straight from the bars to the game, as if I remember correctly the game was before noon.

That was a very fun trip! And the last time FSU lacrosse was ever in New Orleans

Dont forget our goalie receiving and IV bag before the game and half the team going from the boot to the field that morning.

Wait, people play on teams to play lacrosse and not drink?? Lacrosse games are the best time to drink though. The only bad experience I had with drinking and lacrosse was back in 03 when we went to college station to play against texas, texas a&m, and byu. They stopped selling alcohol at like 9pm...what kinda town is that?
