I was pretty jazzed about going to this event- unfortunately I saw that for me to buy a ticket, it would be 45 bucks- and to be totally honest, I only really wanted to see the UCSD UCSB game.
I'd contacted the person putting on the event several times to see if they needed volunteers for the event or the banquet beforehand, and also to ask some clarifying questions, and never received a response at all.
I just don't know if 45 bucks is enough to sell me on an endzone seat.
Way to promote/disenfranchise the lacrosse community.

I went to this event last year, and even though it was pricey, it was worth it. The 2 NCAA Div 1 games last year were incredible and, if you haven't had a chance to see top rated Div 1 teams play, you should do yourself a favor and cough up the bucks. What a show it was last year! Georgetown & Syracuse facing off in a close battle and No. Carolina up aginst Notre Dame. This year's line up is just as good, Bucknell v. Navy and Loyola v. Duke. You get a chance to see some of the top players in the country like Matt Danowski, Ian Dingman, Matt Russell & CATLAXer Mike Abou-Jaoude just to name a few. I guarantee that you will not feel as bad afterwards about spending that kind of money.
If you have any contacts at the MDIA schools that are participating, they may have tickets for sale. You won't get a discount, but you may be helping out that team with their fundraising as last year teams got a small piece of the group tickets that they bought.

I believe that some of the members of the USD and Claremont teams are serving as volunteers so they may already have all the help they need. They probably got bombarded with volunteers as well on their website. My guess is that you weren't the only one who didn't hear from them.

I can attest that the event was awesome last year and in my opinion definitely worth $45 if that is the cost this year. Those were my first two DI lacrosse games and I was amazed by the athleticism and skill at that level. Definitely a great day of lacrosse that I am sad to be missing this year.
