We ran into a lot of problems in the second half when we tried to slow the game down. We really let Arkansas back in the game by trying to hold the ball on offense. Ryan Van Dyke had two goals in the first 8 minutes of the game, but had to leave when he suffered a broken hand.

Arkansas is a good team that is only going to get better. I am looking for them to do some good things this year.

Any word on Kansas-Nebraska?

Wash U played really well, especially for their first game of the season. We never found any kind of rhythm. They won big, and they made it look easy. Easily the best team we've faced so far.

The SLU game was a bit more competitive. As in every game so far, they jumped on us early. We played some of our best ball at times, and I'm glad we didn't give up despite trailing the whole game. SLU will surprise a few teams this year if they go overlooked.

Thanks to both teams for hosting, but we may rethink this whole "lacrosse in February" thing. (SNOW?...)
