Local talent turns Utah club team into national contender

The University of Utah is not located in or near what many in the lacrosse community would consider a “hotbed of lacrosse.” While the sport is growing rapidly at the youth level in Utah, it still has a ways to go before it catches up to California, Texas, Ohio, and an even longer way to go to catch the traditional hotbeds of New York and Maryland. Yet surprisingly, The University of Utah Men’s Lacrosse club, which is made of mainly instate players, has grown into a well respected team and an up and comer in the USLIA-MDIA.
