Lacrosse in Broward
Lacrosse, one of the fastest-growing sport in America, has added a new program in Broward County.
The East Broward YMCA has begun accepting registrations for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Youth Lacrosse League, designed for boys and girls in kindergarten to fifth grade and girls in grades 6-12. The league plans to offer instruction and play in spring, summer and fall.
"It's an untapped program, especially on Broward's east side," says Howard Tripp, director of the East Broward YMCA.
