Is anyone headed up to Springfield, MO this weekend for the tourney? If so, could you keep the rest of us posted? Missouri loves company...

Sorry, didn't get a chance to get away from the games but heres what I know from today..... no exact scores but:
RHIT went 1-2
Rolla went 0-3
Harding went 2-1
Illinois A went 3-0
Illinois B went 3-0 (?)
Missouri State went 1-2
Memphis went 0-3
I'm not sure how Western did but if I did the math right then they would have had to go 2-1.
I'd have to say that Harding had the best showing although I didn't get to see too many B games. They beat Missouri State 8-7 in OT and played an intense and close game against Illinois A....Think Illinois ended up winning by 2 and things definitely got heated in this one. If anyone else wants to fill in a little more feel free to do so.
A Harding defensemen also won the fastest shot contest clocking at 88 mph. Can someone give a name of who that was?
Thanks to everyone who made the trip to Springfield. It was a great day of ball and we hope everyone has a great season!

Give me a couple hours and I'll give you the name of the D Pole, my initial guess would be Josh Gronvold.

corbin is right. it was josh that won the fastest shot contest.
thanks to ex-SMS (sorry i always forget the new name) for hosting, it was a lot of fun. i hope everyone had as much fun as i did. i really enjoyed getting to talk to the guys at the tournament, and i hope to see them all again in this up coming season.
thanks to ex-SMS again for an amazing game, one of the best i have ever been a part of, i hate that someone had to lose, we both played our hearts out.
encouragement to memphis. having started the team at my high school, and having joined a second year team in college, i know the struggles of starting out a program, you guys played well and are alot better then either of the two teams i just mentioned. i look forward to the next few years of games with you.
congrats to illinois. i had as much fun watching you guys play as i did actually playing against you. you are a very talented team that i fully expect to be a pillar of this conference for years to come. lots of young talent. and a very classy program.
