Very entertaining game and a great atmosphere, especially for a fall game. Both teams were a little sloppy with the ball, too many unforced errors. At this point, both defenses were better than both attack units.
It was a one-goal game all afternoon with the exception being a 6-4 CSU lead in the 4th quarter. BYU tied it at 6. CSU went up 7-6 with just over 2 minutes left. BYU had a couple looks in the final minutes but no great scoring chances.
Two teams with A LOT of talent, potential to be two very good teams. Tyler Monteath had a hat-trick for the Y. CSU had black numbers on dark green jerseys making it somewhat difficult to ID players (all part of their masterplan ).
Highlight of the afternoon: Pat Bird between the legs dodge.
