the website for our league is awful.
something should really be done to create a better website for our league.
sorry to be critical, but if we want our league to be a powerhouse, having a decent website is critical

I'm not sure what a web-site has to do with being a powerhouse league...but yes it should be improved and that takes someone volunteering their time, skills and possibly money. Powerhouse = OOC WINS, FINAL FOUR APPEARANCES, ETC.

This is true, but a good website does much to promote the league. League promotion helps bring in quality players, and can help convince the quality players already enrolled in our schools that our league is worth their time. Every little bit helps. Also, individual recognition is much easier to broadcast when coaches have a central website to check that is updated with stats, photos, and other coaches evaluations. I do not believe that lax meant that the only thing that seperated the LSA from other "powerhouse" leagues was a good website.

thanks for the clerification.
i thought it was obvious that they dont bring out laptops to midfield before tourneys & games and compare websites and the best site gets OOC wins and such and then becomes a powerhouse
i meant that websites can help promote the league, say for example, help get players from the northeast to come play at LSA schools.
i also think people over-react a little bit on these message boards. if we were outside of a bar in the parking lot at 3am, these short tempers would be expected, but for a message board about lacrosse, i think we should calm down a bit. im not trying to insult the people responsible for the website, i just wanted to bring the issue to attention

This has been a topic of discussion before, below is a link to the most recent discussion. I am pretty sure that others were aware of the LSA's website, and would agree with you that it needs to be overhauled and re-designed.
