I read the article today because I have been in the mountains and have had no chance to connect with anything lacrosse, especially in Idaho! But atleast you can buy lottery tickets

I thought that the article was well written; and I would like to express my appreciation to the Journalist in our state, I have yet to read a article like that of in California, or Idaho where they bash the sport, all of our newspapers and television stations have been extremely upbeat about our sport. This state is upbeat with sport and as it grows it is suprising the support we get; heck I started a high school team four years ago and now it shocks me to the number of kids and parents that support it, plus all the business in our community.

Along those lines, it was a great story in Lacrosse magazine on Coach Goodhand. It has to give him a tremendous sense of accomplishment to see what he has basically wrought with all of his efforts in Utah. You can go around the country and find pockets of lacrosse who's roots can be traced back to pioneering individuals who have given a large part of their lives to the growth of the sport. Kudos all around!

Hey, lacrosse is actually starting to boom in Idaho. 16 high school teams, three college teams, U-15, 17, and 19 teams that compete in travel tournaments including Vail....I wouldn't start short selling Idaho and lacrosse.

I would also like to know who in Idaho "bashes" the sport. Are you in eastern Idaho? Eastern Idaho is like southern utah, where there is no lacrosse. There might be some "bashing" there...however in the western and northern parts of the state, and especially in the treasure valley, lacrosse receives tons of support. All you have to do is log on to www.laxid.com or www.idaholax.com or www.lacrosseallstars.com to get a good appreciation for what lacrosse is turning in to in Idaho.

Heck, the biggest sports web site in the state even put on a live web-cast of the high school all-star game this past weekend.

Open mouth....insert foot.

I wasnt selling Idaho lacrosse short I know that it is growing there, all I said was that I was in Idaho, Eastern Idaho to be exact, up four wheeling and shooting on family land. Its hard to get info on utah lacrosse when your getting stuck in snow with your four wheeler!

and the article that was bad from idaho was like from Boise St. newspaper, im sure it was just some baseball player who was mad at how good Boise st. lax program was. but still it was a article that bashed lacrosse.

that is great that you guys got to have the high school championships live on the web. that would have been cool to have known and watched, when was it?

Yeah, the guy from BSU was just letting out some kind of pent up frustration. However, if you looked at the web site where the article was posted, it received all kinds of hateful comments, and no comments supporting it.

The high school all-star game was last saturday...I think they have the game archived on the site still. The address is www.idahosports.com

check it out if you have a chance.
