USLIA.com Writer & Former Colorado State standout goalie Alex Smith, also known as "onpoint," has agreed to become the new RMLC Fourm moderator.

Some guidelines have been established for message board users and their dealings with the moderators. I suggest you read this page:
http://forums.uslia.com/viewtopic.php?t=45

Onpoint will be moderating the RMLC forum and will post online news items of interest to conference fans and general lacrosse activity in the RMLC geographic region.

Welcome aboard Alex, I mean onpoint! :P

Who would have thought? Going from getting posts banned by moderators to moderating myself. That's kind of like Janet Jackson getting appointed by the FCC to monitor flesh content on TV shows.

Is this a Joke?

Postby bbandlax on Sun Jan 23, 2005 10:40 am

Oh great,

Is this the best we can come up with? Nobody likes this guy. I was talking to Ryan and "Little" Nicky at the Philly convention (they were busy driving away buisness from the Rocket Pocket booth) and all they could talk about was what a putz this guy is. At one point I had to defend his playing ability when Flip started to talk him down. Even his own people don't like him.

Well I guess beggers can't be choosers.

P.S. Alex, those Rocket-Pocket guys told you were the chief R&D man for the new CSU male thong. Any hints on the anticipated release date?

I knew it!!

I told someone recently that I was everyone's best friend when I had all my pads on, but off the field, they all secretly hated me! This only confirms it. I'm surprised Ryan was still awake at the table knowing how much "fun" he probably had the night before, so he is not a reliable source. If you can't even open your eyes at any given moment, then you are not qualified to make judgments on others. By the way, no release date on the thongs yet. We are still researching a comfortable "exit" strategy.

Alex,

I do want to say that this is the first time in a long time that the IL Face-Off Yearbook pre-season top 25 article actually made some sense. The problem as always is the minute things go to press, lots of stuff changes, not only in our league, but in others (Dingman, etc., etc.). You did a great job and hope you will keep that responsibility for the long term.
