Check the final score of the UNT/UTA game at www.lonestaralliance.org in which UNT won.

Most of the games have been turned to me by email this weekend:

*Saturday, Feb. 5*

UT-Austin 14 Baylor 6
North Texas 16 UT-Arlington 5
Southwestern 9 Stephen F. Austin 6
St. Edwards 13 TCU 9
The Trinity/Rice game was not played.

Though it was mentioned that A&M defeated Houston, 18-3, yet I am still waiting for confirmation by email.

*Sunday, Feb. 6*

Texas State 13 Baylor 12 (3 OT)
Univ. of Houston 11 Trinity 10 (OT)
Southwestern 14 TCU 0

The SFA team sends a big thanks to the Southwestern medical staff. We had a player go down with a knee injury (possibly ACL) early in the game and they were on the scene quickly and tended to him with ice, wraps, and medicine. We are a small team and dont have the advantage of a medical staff. So thanks to them.

Overall the game was good. We were a little undermanned and Southwestern took advantage. Congrats to them.

I went to the UNT / UTA game and was suprised how well UNT played especially in the second half where they shut out UTA. UTA looked like they have a much smaller team (#s wise) than they've had in the past. Chris Files had 6 goals for UNT and #4 for UNT had two highlight reel quick-stick goals. Fun game to watch.
