UVSC 19, Montana State 10. UVSC Dominated from the get go. Montana brought it within two at half, and UVSC blew em out in the second half.

Sounds like another great game and throws a kink into the who is #1 seed in Blaine. Looks like if SSU can beat UCSD, then the WCLL final could determine then again who knows.

My sources tell me:

-Tied at 3 at half
-BYU went up 7-4 in the 3rd
-CSU closed it to 7-6
-BYU went up 8-6
-CSU scored with about 1 minute left (8-7)
-BYU was able to run out the clock to end the game

Powers was very solid in goal for BYU (the whole game, thank you very much) and spectacular at times. Not to be outdone, Jokisch also made some very difficult saves to bail out the Rams. BYU played a complete game and deserved to win. I know I'm a bit biased, but about 80% of the loose ball pushes/holds/etc. were called against CSU. Both teams hit pipe three or four times. I would say that BYU had more possession, but neither team necessarily had a lot of success in settled six on six situations. Very good game all around and a good victory for BYU. First win over CSU since the 2002 game in Hughes Stadium.
Always on point . . .

I think all that Alfac is looking for is accuracy in reporting. I mean, have you read that article? There are made up quotes, and, more or less, openly mocks the Mines team. I have seen more accurate reporting from CBS News.

Then get CBS News to cover it... thank you.

CSU vs BYU
A telling stat-CSU 2-16 in faceoffs(from www.byulacrosse.com) winning 1 in the 3rd and 1 in the 4th. Wasnt there to see what kind of difference it made, but I'd imaging it played a part. Also, where are the all conference teams posted?

Great job this year Dave. Just want you to know that there are people out there that appreciate what you do; although CBS News could be nice!!!
