PNCLL Week #12 (4/20-4/26) - Predict, Scores, Discuss

Whitman v. UPS score??

Postby Peter Lewicki on Sat Apr 23, 2005 5:57 pm

I heard from one of the Whitman players that Whitman won 12-5...not sure this is the correct score, though.
Apparently there was a 20 minute lightning delay in the 4th, at which point UPS made a little run.

Congrats Whitman. Proud of you guys.

actually i believe the final was 6-17 for the PLU Western game. Not really a differnce.. but it is the correct final score.

Update

Postby Dan Wishengrad on Sat Apr 23, 2005 9:55 pm

Oregon leads 15-6 with about eleven minutes remaining in the game. OSU is two-man up. Brauck Cullen now in goal for the Ducks, Cordova apparently done for the night.

Thanks to Bubba for the updates!

Final Score

Postby Dan Wishengrad on Sat Apr 23, 2005 10:17 pm

Oregon 19
Oregon State 7

Congrats to the Ducks for winning the #1 seed in the playoffs in a three-way tie-breaker over #2 Washington and #3 Simon Fraser. UO plays #4 Gonzaga in one semi-final, with UW-SFU the other semi.

PLU-WOU score corrected.

Yes the above score is correct, Oregon 19-Oregon State 7. It was really nice to see such a large crowd attend the in-state rivalry. And of course, what would make a better in-state Oregon game than a game in the rain. It rained much of the first half but the crowd remained. Thanks to everyone who put on the game and got the word out about it. I hope we can do this again in the future
