Just wanted to hear from any UNT guys to see whether or not it was true that Mike Shimanek had transferred to UNT and was playing there this spring.

I'm not from UNT but I saw shimanek at the UT UNT game this past weekend. He's officially a mean green.

I played with Mike in high school, he graduated a year before me. How did he look out there. We play UNT this saturday, so any other info on them would be appreciated.

He easily has the ugliest stick in the entire LSA. It has green mesh with a faded red and white splash thing for a head.

His other head broke in practice and he has been using this left-over head that we found in a corner ever since.

Sorry, Mike. I couldn't resist.

Aside from an ugly stick, he is a tall defenseman with good stick skills and good off ball skills.
