RMLC Week 11(4/15-4/22)

i don't think getting to the championship will be enough. the utes have too many losses by too many goals. i think they'd have to pull off another weekend win streak. i hope it does, but unfortunately, i don't think that's going to happen.

last night showed a lot of the ute's weaknesses. they just don't take care of the ball. they have tons of talent, but none of that matters when you're making costly mistakes. some of those mistakes were caused by this stupid head game utah has with itself against byu. they never play as good as they really are against the cougars. that being said, a lot of mistakes were also because they're young and not too smart with the ball.

Correct...the U will get the winner of the CU/CSU game (or, the #3 seed). BYU gets the loser.

Even if the U runs the table and wins the tourney, that puts them at 9-8...with three of their wins coming over DII teams (Utah St., UVSC and Westminister). I don't see how they get in this year.

Their OOC losses will probably cost them. I'd like to see them there because I think they could show well.

Despite my blue avatar, you'd be surprised how much Red flows through my family's veins...

yeah. they really hurt themselves with that horrendous california trip and blowout losses to fsu and asu.

and if we're going to talk about blood lines, i'm the only one of my family that's gone red. everyone else went to the y. lame.

No. 16 Creighton - 6
No. 22 Metro State - 13

Final

Both teams came out slow in the 1st quarter. Tumbleweeds were everywhere as the wind in north Denver was out of control. A close second quarter was played resulting in a tie at 5 at the half. Metro goaltender Blair Beougher played a heckuva game and the D turned it on to hold the Jays to 1 in the second half. A pretty clean game and a solid win for Metro.

Best of luck to both Mines and Creighton as the Jays travel to Golden this evening for part two of a double header.

Just got some secondhand knowledge of the Mines/Creighton game:

Creighton - 6
Mines - 11

VERY UNOFFICIAL

Any confirmation?
