I'll be watching the game today and posting updates for interested parties. Just got finished watching the tape of the BYU/CSU game. BYU statskeepers had each goalie with over 20 saves, but after counting today, it was closer to 12 or 13 for both teams. Hopefully today will be a little more accurate. Game time is in a little over a half an hour. Stay tuned for updates.

1-1 after a couple minutes. Interesting note: Both teams have former goalies starting at attack in this game. Slow tempo so far.

Still 1-1 with about 7:20 left. Not very intersting thus far. Surprised there hasn't been a stalling warning for the Buffs yet. They have not dodged with anyone except Brian Morgan (#22) yet and are just working it around so far. 0 saves for both teams . . . I'm keeping track of this stat today.

No Mark Davis today. I missed whether or not Monteath is playing. #19 Austin is filling in at attack.

Man up chance for CU. I don't know if I'll be able to stay awake for the rest of this possession.

2 saves for Powers on that man up. BYU ball.

Kasaii makes a save and throws it into the crowd about six rows up.

Another save for Kasaii. I have two saves for each goalie. Two penalties at the end of the first quarter against Colorado. 1-1 after one. Neither team playing necessarily bad, but the game is kind of crawling along. BYUtv has Powers with 5 saves, which is ludicrous at this point.

BYU looks very listless, while CU is just holding the ball. It looked like #14 of BYU injured a shoulder right as the 1st quarter ended.

CU kills the man up. One save for Kasaii. Man up chance for CU.

CU scores man-up. When they are extra-man, they attack the goal. Otherwise, they are kind of (very) patient.

One more save for Kasaii. That's four for him.

Powers with a great save on the bouncer, but BYU offsides on the fast break. That's three saves for him.

BYU gets a good back up on another missed shot by Morgan. He keeps having some good looks but is unable to finish.

BYU man up with a little under 6:00 min. CU is certainly dominating the time of possession. This is a big EMO for the Cougars.
