Just found out that the UMass team defeated Syracuse, 9-7 today and also ended the Orange's 24 consecutive postseason appearances.

That was my senior year at Gallaudet before the Orange went on their 24 consecutive runs in the NCAA.

I was at the game (NECLL tournament immediately followed it). Great game. Huge crowd. It was the first D-1 game I've seen in person and it was a great one. It was followed by a UMass win over Tufts University too.
