Jeff Milano-Johnson, 14, of Pittsford Sutherland (NY), passed away yesterday when he was accidentally hit by a ball during a pre-game warm-ups between Pittsford and Spencerport. He was near the goal and was retrieving the ball and was standing up when he was hit in the back of his head although he had his helmet on. He was brought to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was put on life support. He passed away around 6 pm EST.

Jeff has a senior brother on the team; his head coach is Andrew Whipple.
