Even on the other side of the globe, I got goosebumps reading the Insidelacrosse.com blog from the game. All of the suffering those guys have been through and now they can just get back to being arguably the best team in the nation. If you don't feel something for these players and their families, then my friend I am afraid you have no soul.
I am only sorry I couldn't watch the game.
Go DUKE! (at least for 2007)

I read that there were more than 60 media credentials at the Dartmouth-Duke game yesterday.

Wow, I would NOT have wanted to be Dartmouth yesterday...
I know 6500 is a lot of fans, but what does a typical game pull in, just for comparison sake?

ESPN said 450 at last year's first game of the season.

I'm pretty sure they said during the pre-game that 30 media credentials had been given out for the game, up from 10. In any event, it was a pretty good game. Danowski and Greer looked absolutely dominant at times, but the kid who really impressed me was Bonacci for Dartmouth...he took a beating and still came away with some really impressive goals.
Really good to see Duke back on the field where they belong.

Congrads to Duke Lacrosse, it took a lot of strength to get back where they are. It is awesome to see how the community came together to show there support. Wish them nothing but luck in their 07 campaign.

Duke looked pretty solid ... Not to much a fan of the names on the back of the jerseys though ... kinda takes away from an otherwise great looking uniform.
Novosel looked decent in cage for the Big Green, but I was really impressed with his clearing and mobility. He definitely left one of Duke's attack with a pair of sore ankles after a nice face dodge on the clear.

Sad and funny at the same time. From the recent Duke at Maryland game in College Park, MD:

Ah, Md. fans continue to show they are like a teacher in the summer, no class.
