terrible-my prayers go out to the horns and his family. Why this stuff at Texas schools always seem to happen around Thanksgiving? Maybe the LSA as a league can do something to help or remember him?

Frat keeps quiet about member's death after fall

By M.T. Elliott

While the Travis County Medical Examiner's Office waits to release the toxicology report for former UT student Tyler Cross, who died after an accidental fall Nov. 17, details of his last night remain shrouded by a veil of fraternity silence.

Cross, an 18-year-old engineering freshman, died from "blunt force injuries" suffered after a fall from the seventh-story balcony of his West Campus apartment, according to an administrator with the Travis County Medical Examiner's Office.

Though the medical examiner's office has completed the toxicology report, public disclosure is pending the chief examiner's release, according to the administrator. Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Lt. Robert Saenz said the medical examiner's office told him it could be another three weeks before the report is released.

Cross was a pledge with Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, where his brother is a member, and played on UT's lacrosse club.
