When/where will be the Big 12 tournament this year? I've heard Kansas City.
Are all the "Big 12" MCLA schools committed to the event? Where will it held? Is there a schedule out yet? Who is organizing the event this year?

The Big XII tournament is scheduled for March 2-4 at the Heritage Park Football Complex in Kansas City, MO. Eric Hethcoat is running the show this year and would be able to pass on more information. As far as I know, Oklahoma St is the only Big XII team not able to make it because of a scheduling conflict.

From what I understand, Oklahoma State and Nebraska are the only Big XII teams not playing. Nebraska moved back down to B this season. Missouri State, the closest (I believe) non-Big XII team will be filling in for Oklahoma State, not sure if someone else is filling in for Nebraska or not.
Justin, isn't Heritage Park Football Complex in Olathe or is it actually in KC?

Nebraska said that we were still going to be there unless we are nolonger invited because we moved to B. We have planned on going the entire time and still do.

Yes, Heritage Park is in Olathe. Kind of on the outskirts of Olathe. It's a great field, I actually told Eric Hethcoat to check this out. It will fit the needs of the tourney. My High School team uses the field for home games.

Grass, I should say perfect grass. Beautifully cut and good draining. I believe there is some lights on the fields. Good parking too. Fast food, groceries, and restaurants nearby

Any way you could tell me more about the lights? What are the fields used for normally? What night games are held there? Are they like H.S. football stadium lights? Will there be night games played as part of this tournament?

Here is the website for Heritage Park
http://www.jcprd.com/parks_facilities/heritage_park.cfm
There is actually 2 heritage parks, one is Football and another is soccer fields. The one for Lacrosse is the football fields. Johnson County Parks & Rec do high school, junior high football games there (day & night). I'm not sure what kind of lights they use. I'm also not sure how the big 12 games are going to go as this will be my first Big 12 tourney.
