The Preview will feature Fairfield University, Harvard University, Loyola College (MD), the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, Princeton University, and the United States Naval Academy.

The tentative schedule of games is:

12:00 p.m.
Navy vs. Mssachusetts
Loyola vs. Princeton
Fairfield vs. Harvard

3:00 p.m.
Loyola vs. Harvard
Navy vs. Fairfield
Massachusetts vs. Princeton

The New England Patriots are proud to have partnered with Harvard University, the Eastern College Athletic Conference, the Massachusetts Sports and Entertainment Commission, and the Greater Boston Visitors and Convention Bureau to bring the 2008 NCAA championships to Gillette Stadium.

The 2008 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships mark the first time the event has returned to New England since 1986, when it was hosted by Brown University. Attracting the event to the world-class Gillette Stadium not only is in response to the commitment of the Kraft Family and the New England Patriots but also to the escalating number of boys and girls playing lacrosse in all New England states.

Gillette Stadium today announced that the College Lacrosse Preview has been canceled due to the unfortunate high level of wear and tear on its fields.

The six collegiate teams are discussing alternative sites and will make a decision as to a new location in the next few days.

The Stadium appreciates the efforts put forth to create and facilitate this event by Phil Buttafuoco, executive director of the 2008 NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championships, however, at this time, the fields can not withstand the impact of additional events.

This unfortunate situation in no way reduces Gillette Stadium's commitment to hosting the 2008 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships. In fact, the Stadium will continue to evaluate the creation of future men’s lacrosse events to be played at the facility.
