Goal-A-Thon

Have any of you team reps out there recieved an e-mail about this fundraising program? Has anyone taken part in it? I would love to hear any feedback.

For those of you who havent heard about this program, it allows you to have fans pledge donations for the amount of goals your team scores. The service supposedly returns 3/4 of the profits to you, and gives 1/4 to Metro Lacrosse. www.goalathon.com is their site.

Our team got word of it today or yesterday and it is currently being discussed with the executive members. I personally think this could be done completely within the team itself, that way 1/4 of the profits would not go to an administrator.
