Posted: Fri May 19, 2006 11:19 pmNo, you are an All-America selection/player. In the same way you are not a Hall of Famer, rather you are a Hall of Fame member or member of a particular Hall of Fame.
Posted: Fri May 19, 2006 11:49 pmWhen one punches in "all-america", one gets "all-american" in the Merriam Webster online dictionary. This is the definition. Note that "all-america" is an alternative to "all-american". Note definition 1b. A team of all-Americans is an all-American team.
