Does anyone have any thoughts on how the MDIA would tangle with NCLL teams? Would we just have are butts handed to us because NCLL have some guys who might've made the varsity squad @ their institution?

This question and topic have been discussed a few times in the forums. I'm not sure where to find it due to time. At the MDIA level I like to make the analogy of off the field organization to on the field performance. If you look up and down the MDIA. The teams that are most successful (typically) are the most organized off the field. Often the NCLL teams are not that organized. Could they be competitive and would many be? Of Course. Many are right now and would be very successful. I saw the University of Maryland play this fall and they had many skilled players. As I'm sure many of the other NCLL teams do. It would be tough for many of these schools not to have tons of talent. Just due to geographical location and the size of some of the institutions.

Just some refernce points for comparison:
Eckerd(SELC-B) beat NYU(NCLL) 15-6 playing mostly out of position(our goalie was on attack, middies playing D etc.)
Eckerd beat Liberty(SELC-B) 22-4
Lynchburg(NCLL) beat Liberty15-8

Lynchburg is 15 in the country according to laxpower
NYU is 56 on Laxpower.

I believe that the B Division is a step up from the NCLL and there best teams would rank between the top ten and twenty.

interesting...I have a buddy who was on the UPenn varsity but got tired of "feeling like he was going to puke everyday after practice" so he joined their club team. I would be nervous of these guys who step down...at least here in the PNCLL-B, one ex-NCAA guy can make a WORLD of difference.

Sorry about starting this discussion, Danny.
