OK folks,
I think we've had enough of negativity for the week with heated discussion about A/B games and talking/speculating on what's going to happen with Duke. So, I thought I'd get a more positive topic started--one that should spark some interesting discussion and bragging rights.
We've all heard of the established recruiting hotspots in our areas--the Torrey Pines, St. Ingatius, and Brother Rices of our areas--but I'm sure there are upcoming schools and lacrosse leagues that hold the potential for future recruits. What are some of the sources in your area? Any public schools that have recently started up a team that is looking good?
In the LA area there are a few new leagues starting up. There is one in Long Beach that may draw some of the local talent once it gets going, and the South Bay area could be a possible source for future recruitment.

In Michigan the whole metro detroit area has been pretty big for a while. The up and coming area is Grand Rapids. East Grand Rapids, and Forest Hills Central (incidently the two schools that American Pie was based around) are really taking off.

Wisconsin recruits mainly come from the Madison area, mostly Verona, Waunakee and Middleton. A bit of talent has spread north to the Fox Valley area, and to the new team in Wausau, but those areas are too undeveloped yet to say anything definitive.
