I don't know if anybody else has already posted about this but I was watching the Butler vs Notre Dame game on Comcast local from chicago and they announced that on April 22nd they are televising the Michigan vs. Michigan State lacrosse game!!!

sounds like a pretty sweet step for a couple of club lax teams and for lacrosse in general!

That's correct. Our game against Michigan State will be televised by Comcast Local at 7:30pm EST on Saturday, April 22. It may be picked up by other Comcast regions around the country, and it will be replayed several times over the following weeks. While it's not a major network, it's still a professional production that is available in millions of homes. Aside from BYU TV broadcasts, I believe it's the first time an IA game will be shown live on TV.

The game is being played at Forest Hills Central High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Tickets have been selling for several weeks. If the weather is good, we hope to top the crowd of 5,000 we got for the game two years ago.

There are two high school games leading up to the college game, and the Powell brothers, all three of them, will be there doing an on-field demo right before we start our warm-ups.

Should be a great event.

This is the link to Comcast Local: http://www.comcastlocal.com/

If we can find out where it's being shown in other regions, we'll include that in our release next week.
