Fellow Lax fans and friends,
I'd like everyone to keep Nate Stine, an MSU sophomore attackman, in your thoughts and prayers. He was recently diagnosed with Hodgkins disease and is going to need all the support he can get.

If you are interested in donating to help with any of his medical bills, please send them to:

Nate Stine Fund
c/o MSU Lacrosse
902 Darlington Ave
East Lansing, MI
48823

Again, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Matt

The MSU "senior" night is going to be a fund raiser for the American Cancer Society. MSU will be hosting Grand Valley this thursday at 7:30PM at Ralph Young Field on MSU's campus (directly next to the football stadium).

I would like to invite everyone that has the means to get to East Lansing this thursday to get out and support this worthy cause.

Is there any way to set up a Paypal account so that folks on the boards can make a donation?

http://www.msu.lax.net/contributions.php

There is a paypal link. It doesn't get used all that often, so we'll donate everything from that for the next week or so along with it.

THANKS!

Our senior day fund raiser was an absolute success. Local media including the Lansing State Journal, WVFN AM 730 sports talk radio, and WLNS CBS channel 6 were helpful in getting the word out to the community. WLNS ran a story on the 11 o'clock news about it (video coming soon).

We raised over $1,200 for the American Cancer Society. Thank you to everyone who has had Nate in their thoughts and prayers, and to everyone who showed up for the event.

Our seniors and the rest of our players were proud to be a part of such a great event.

Special thanks to Grand Valley and their head coach Mark Kramer for being a part of this day.

I almost forgot to add... Many thanks to our media relations coordinator Bree Allen for all the time she spent getting the word out to local media outlets about this event!

Thanks Bree!
