Navy-Syracuse Scrimmage to Be Played Today at 4:00 pm
ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The lacrosse scrimmage between No. 7 Navy and fifth-ranked Syracuse will be played at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium today at 4:00 pm due to the winter weather forecast for tomorrow. Admission to the scrimmage is free, however, there will be a $5 charge to park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Fans should enter and exit the stadium through Gate 5 (Taylor Avenue).
The Mids officially open the 2006 season Feb. 18 at Saint Joseph's at 1:00 pm before returning home to play their home opener on Feb. 24 at 7:00 pm against Ohio State.
Single-game tickets may be purchased at the Navy Ticket Office on Brownson Road, by calling 1-800-US4-NAVY, via the internet at www.navysports.com or at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium on game day. Tickets prices are $7 for adults and $3 for students, while groups of 20 or more will be admitted for a $2 per person charge.
Virgina-Georgetown Scrimmage Moved to Tonight
With the threat of snow in the Charlottesville area this weekend, the UVa men's lacrosse scrimmage originally scheduled for Saturday against Georgetown, has been moved to tonight (Friday) at 7 pm. The game will be played at the UHall Turf Field and admission is free.
Princeton vs. Maryland Scrimmage Cancelled
The Maryland men's lacrosse scrimmage scheduled for tomorrow, February 11, at Princeton has been cancelled due to weather concerns.
