Ladies and Gentlemen:
Please join me in congratulating Nick Silva on his appointment as Head Lacrosse Coach at Fontbonne University in St. Louis, MO.
Nick has had a major impact on lacrosse at Lindenwood University; with both the Men's and Women's programs. His passion for and knowledge of the game of lacrosse has been invaluable in our progress as a program. He has also been and will continue to be a prominent figure in the game in the St. Louis area.
I believe he will more than provide the spark needed to get a fledgling DIII program off the ground.

I may have missed it, being on the other side of the state, but didn't Fontbonne already hire a head coach, Jon Bifulco, in June. What happened to that decision.
Either way, congrats to Nick, I always enjoyed playing against him in HS.

Jon received a promotion requiring him to move to Chicago.
